As a non-profit organization, Green Teacher is funded primarily by book sales and subscription revenues, but these do not pay all the bills. We occasionally seek grants from government agencies, and we accept donations from people like you. Supporting subscribers are individuals and organizations who generously pay a little bit extra for their subscriptions in order to help keep Green Teacher afloat. In every second issue of Green Teacher, we publish the names of our supporting subscribers and publicly thank them.

Our supporting subscribers pay an extra $10 per year when they purchase any of our magazine subscriptions. Call us at 1-888-804-1486 or purchase a subscription online and write “supporting subscription” in the Order Notes field when you check out; we’ll charge the additional donation to your credit card.friends of GT tall

You can also help us by becoming a “Friend of Green Teacher.” You’ll receive a magazine subscription, a selection of back issues, and a Green Teacher book of your choice, as  well as helping support our work providing environmental ideas to educators across North America.

Donations in any amount are always welcomed and greatly appreciated! You can donate with any major credit card, or by using your debit card, through our PayPal donation link (you do not need a PayPal account):

(If you would like us to omit your name from our list of donors, please write “yes” in the box which asks you if you wish to remain anonymous when completing your donation.)

Or, if you’d rather speak to someone in person to make your donation, please give us a call at 1-888-804-1486.

Alternatively, you may donate by check. Checks are payable to “Green Teacher” and can be mailed to either our Canada or U.S. address:
