Overarching inquiry question: How do humans and squash bees affect and depend on each other?

Materials:

  • Nectar cards or chips (10 per student)
  • Pollen cards of chips (10 per student)
  • “Male flower” labels (one per five students)
  • “Female flower” labels (one per five students)
  • “New pollen” labels (one per “female flower”)
  • “Nest” labels (one per female student)
