GETTING READY FOR THE WEBINAR
 
Materials Needed:
2-3 sheets of paper
Something to color with like crayon or colored pencil
Scissors
Tape
2 pages from an old calendar or magazine (alternatively: 1 sheet of construction paper)
1 thick rubber band
1 stick 6″-8″ long, no wider than your pinky finger (alternatively: 1 full-length pencil)
A natural object

Ana Leirner is the Instructional Designer, Adult Learning for Project Learning Tree (PLT), an initiative of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Ana’s wealth of adult education experience includes everything from developing Massive Open Online Courses for government officials in Latin America and the Caribbean to leading training and professional development initiatives for formal and nonformal educators.
 
Molly Gillespie is the Alaska Project Learning Tree Coordinator and is continually inspired by the educators she meets through PLT events.  She has extensive experience teaching kids outdoors and believes that public lands, forests and urban green spaces make the best classrooms.
