What is a Nature Spot?
- A Nature (Magic, Earth, or Quiet) Spot is an activity that can be done with students of any age. The purpose is to allow youngsters to have an opportunity to be alone in a place in a natural area where they can experience the flow of life around them and begin the lifelong process of observing the connections between themselves and everything around them.
- Nature Spots provide a positive environment in which youths can make connections between problems facing the entire planet and this one special place they have begun to value. The more they get to know this site, the more they will appreciate one small piece of the natural communities of our planet.
